Why did we chose the name 'WebWeka'?

You get the 'Web' part of our name, but what is the 'Weka' bit about? 

The Weka is a bird that we love. It is native to New Zealand.

Wekas have traits that reflect what we encourage our customers to be when building their page.

In particular, Wekas are curious. They have a feisty, bold personality. They are persistent, willing to have a go, and do their own thing.

As you'll see below, the Weka is also very resourceful (stories of Wekas searching out shiny items, and bags of sugar, are common).

If a Weka wanted to build a webpage, it would certainly enjoy gathering bits and pieces to nudge around its own freeform WebWeka page.

So 'Web' + 'Weka' = WebWeka. Perfect!
